Ever since my mother Ms Zainab Mgonja passed away at age of 51 I have been looking for her through many other women. She was a single parent who inspired many and I was defeated  by the reality of her saddened dismay where  at moment when I needed her most she was already gone. But miraculously through my search and investing so much in studying women, I have met extraordinary women some near to my mother others were far beyond and wished that a day must come to start documenting their fascinating stories, and some of the heartbreaking stories too. with this regards The  Light Up  with Fatma is is a dream come true for women from Tanzania and  across the global.
